A hotel in Lower Allen Township recently completed a $2.2 million renovation.
High Hotels completed a full interior renovation of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Harrisburg West at 4915 Ritter Road that included a redesign of the hotel’s guest rooms and public areas.
The renovation project included the hotel’s 120 suites, lobby, breakfast area, hallways, indoor pool, fitness room, and outdoor grill and patio space.
“The lobby now welcomes guests with a new, modern design throughout and features a communal table and comfortable seating around a modern gas fireplace, all showcasing stylish new furnishings in refreshing tones of blues and grays with warm wood accents,” the company said in a news release.

The newly renovated suites include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom options.
“I am thrilled with the initial reactions of our guests as they have watched the renovation take shape,” Dave Jacobs, the hotel’s general manager, said in a news release.
The suites now have new plush bedding, carpeting, wall coverings, fixtures and draperies. Now each suite also features a dual twin sleeper sofa. The suites also include a workspace with a moveable desk, extra-large closet space, and a kitchen including a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher. The hotel also has a billiard and game room as well as a professional meeting space.
The renovations were completed between January and April and a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place last month. The hotel remained open during the renovations.
