Qualified Remodeler Unveils 2026 Top 500 Rankings

Qualified Remodeler Top 500 rankings for 2026 show a reshaped hierarchy in the remodeling sector, with Leaf Home claiming the No. 1 spot after reporting $2.53 billion in remodeling revenue for 2025.

Leaf Home overtakes long‑time leader Belfor

Leaf Home, based in Hudson, Ohio, posted a 43.2 percent increase over its 2024 earnings, moving it ahead of Belfor Holdings, which had led the list for more than twenty years. The company’s 2025 revenue of $2,531,046,000 dwarfs Belfor’s revenue, while also handling 365,967 jobs, according to the report.

Belfor Holdings remains in second place, followed by Power Home Remodeling in third and Great Day Improvements in fourth.

The top eight firms each generated more than $1 billion, and together they account for nearly 56 percent of total remodeling revenue across the Top 500.

Industry‑wide revenue and growth patterns

All 500 companies combined produced $26.9 billion in remodeling revenue during 2025. Replacement and home‑improvement businesses contributed $19.4 billion, about 72 percent of the total.

Full‑service remodelers added roughly $3 billion, insurance restoration firms $2.5 billion, design‑build firms just over $1 billion, and kitchen‑and‑bath specialists $938.5 million.

Among the 493 firms with revenue data for both 2024 and 2025, 350 posted increases, 142 saw declines, and one stayed flat. The median company grew 10.3 percent, a more modest figure than the aggregate rise of 19.1 percent, which was driven by the largest operators.

Job volume also rose for many firms. The median company increased the number of jobs by 4.7 percent, and 296 companies reported more jobs than the previous year.

While inflation plays a role, many companies are expanding project scopes and adjusting their mix of work. They are becoming more selective about which jobs they accept and more disciplined in qualifying prospects, aiming to capture greater value from each customer relationship.

Technology continues to influence competition. Firms across the Top 500 are deploying AI and advanced software for tasks ranging from lead generation to estimate preparation and production scheduling. The median cost per issued lead has climbed to $372, creating financial pressure to streamline sales processes.

The forecast for 2026 predicts $31.1 billion in remodeling revenue, a 15.6 percent increase. That outlook will be tested by high lead costs, labor constraints, uneven consumer confidence, and project affordability. Larger platforms will need to integrate acquisitions smoothly, while smaller firms must adopt new technology without compromising service quality.

One way to understand why these shifts matter is to consider the broader trend toward digitalization in home services. As companies rely more on data‑driven tools, they can better match supply with demand, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction.

Top 20 companies by revenue

The list’s top twenty includes Leaf Home, Belfor Holdings, Power Home Remodeling, Great Day Improvements, and Renuity, as well as West Shore Home, Groundworks, and Window World, which round out the eight companies surpassing the $1 billion threshold.

The remaining twelve firms range from $653 million to $155 million in revenue, illustrating the depth of the market.

For example, Window Nation reported $653 million in revenue and 44,695 jobs, while DaBella posted $562 million and 27,067 jobs. Infinity Home Services generated $523 million from 48,622 jobs, and Re‑Bath contributed $514 million with 28,061 jobs.

These figures highlight the concentration of revenue at the top while also showing a sizable tail of smaller players contributing to the industry’s overall health.

Overall, the 2026 Qualified Remodeler Top 500 list reflects a sector in transition, driven by strategic acquisitions, technology adoption, and a focus on higher‑value projects. Companies that can balance growth with operational discipline are poised to lead the market in the coming years.
